With the publication of the advertisement, the online application process has also commenced. This recruitment drive opens up great opportunities for eligible candidates to apply for various posts like LDC, DEO, and others under the Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) examination.
Candidates who have passed Intermediate and are preparing for a government job can apply for this recruitment through the official SSC website, ssc.gov.in, till July 18. After submitting the application, registered candidates will also be allowed to make corrections in their online application form between July 23 and 24. Through this recruitment drive, a total of 3131 vacancies will be filled for the posts of Lower Division Clerk (LDC), Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA), Data Entry Operator (DEO), Postal Assistant (PA), and Sorting Assistant (SA). The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the CHSL 2025 Notification for the recruitment of 3131 posts including Lower Division Clerk (LDC), Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA), Data Entry Operator (DEO), Postal Assistant (PA), and Sorting Assistant (SA). This is a great opportunity for candidates who have passed 12th (Intermediate) and are looking for a central government job. The online application process is active from now until 18th July 2025, and applicants can make corrections in their form between 23rd to 24th July 2025. The selection will be done through Tier-I and Tier-II CBT exams.
The application fee for SSC CHSL is ₹100/- for candidates belonging to the General, OBC, and EWS categories.
No application fee is charged from female candidates of any category, as well as candidates from SC, ST, PwD, and Ex-Servicemen categories.
The fee can be paid online using BHIM UPI, Net Banking, or through a Credit/Debit Card.
Age Limit
18 and 27 years as of the specified date in the official notification.
For the 2025 exam, the date is likely August 1st, 2025. Candidates born not before August 2, 1998, and not later than August 1, 2007, are eligible to apply.
Age relaxations are applicable for candidates belonging to reserved categories like SC/ST, OBC, PwD, etc.

Qualification
Candidates must have passed the 12th standard (or equivalent) examination from a recognized board.
Candidates appearing in their 12th standard exams are also eligible to apply, but they must possess the required qualification by the cutoff date for document verification.
For Data Entry Operator (DEO) in the Office of Comptroller and Auditor General of India (C&AG), candidates must have passed 12th standard with Mathematics as a subject in the science stream.
